Join the launch of Cedars-Sinai's new urgent care model in Los Angeles
Join the launch of Cedars-Sinai’s new retail urgent care model in Los Angeles. These new urgent care locations will complement Cedars-Sinai’s existing urgent care sites and make it easier for adults and children to receive trusted, same-day care for common illnesses, minor injuries and other immediate health needs that do not require emergency care.
Care teams will serve patients seven days a week, with morning, daytime, and evening hours in convenient retail settings. The model creates another accessible point of care close to where people live, work and shop, supported by easy online scheduling, real-time appointment availability, and connected pathways to Cedars-Sinai primary and specialty care when follow-up is needed. The model will also give Cedars-Sinai greater flexibility to expand access into new markets and bring trusted care to more communities.
This model provides an additional entry point into one of the largest nonprofit academic medical centers in the U.S., with care delivered by experienced Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care clinical providers and seamless referral to other Cedars-Sinai services when appropriate.
Be Part of Something New
Providers will practice as part of a collaborative Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care team, with support from clinical experts and colleagues across the organization. The model connects patients to the broader Cedars-Sinai network when additional care is needed.
Expanding Opportunity
The first locations are planned for Sherman Oaks and Santa Monica in Spring 2027, with three to five locations targeted across Los Angeles County in 2027. This is an opportunity to help build a new access model, contribute to Cedars-Sinai’s broader urgent care strategy, and extend trusted care to additional communities across Los Angeles.
