Job Description
The Division of Infectious Disease in the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University invites applications for a full-time physician-scientist faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Exceptional researchers at the full professor level may also be considered.
Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a demonstrated potential for conducting innovative research. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, independently funded research program within the Division of Infectious Diseases, to participate in teaching of graduate and medical students and clinical fellows, and to be an active member of the research community at Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University. Candidates will have limited clinical responsibilities separate from their protected time for research.

Our Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $243,000-$433,000 total cash compensation.
- Doctorate (MD, MD/PhD or equivalent) degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating originality and productivity
- Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, innate immunity, host-pathogen interactions, the microbiome, allergic diseases, and lung injury.
