Director, MN Clinical Operations - SGV & BH Ortho

Job Description

The Director, Clinical Operations is responsible for organizing, directing, and overseeing all aspects of care delivery, care planning, hospital/partnership management and the achievement of key performance metrics for a geographic area or service line. In addition, the Director oversees the daily operations as well as clinical processes and procedures across the assigned multiple outpatient sites of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network. This role is responsible for management of operational programs and services, financial oversight and staff management. Serves as liaison with the local hospital leadership teams, medical staff, ancillary departments and other personnel to ensure patient advocacy. This position works collaboratively with the operational management team to ensure optimal clinical operations with a lens on clinical quality and patient safety, and the efficient and effective functioning of clinical processes across specialties and programs. The Director plays an important role in the development and evaluation of new models of care and the establishment of new specialties, procedures and practice sites and well as being responsible for ensuring high quality care across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma/GED - minimum
  • Bachelor's Degree For Oncology Practices - Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Science in Nursing, and/or related. - minimum
  • Master's Degree For Office of Care Transitions -Care At Home Program, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Science in Nursing, and or related. - preferred
  • Assoc. Degree/College Diploma For Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) - Nursing or healthcare related field - minimum

Experience
  • 2 years Oncology inpatient or ambulatory experience. - preferred
  • 7 years Leadership in healthcare industry. Ambulatory /medical office experience, preferably in a multi-specialty medical group setting, previous medical office management preferred. Billing experience advantageous. - minimum
  • 3 years For Office of Care Transitions Care at Home Program - Must have Inpatient/acute care operations experience. - minimum
  • 5 years For Office of Care Transitions Care at Home Program - Must have leadership/management experience in a healthcare delivery system, specifically, in an inpatient/acute care setting with clinical operations oversight. Clinical qualifications and/or home-based care experience is advantageous. - minimum
  • 5 years For Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) - Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center - minimum

We offer a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base pay range shown generally applies to the greater Los Angeles area and may vary based on work location. Our range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills: relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
